The itinerary

Day 01

Tambopata National Reserve and Lake Sandoval Adventure

• Begin the tour at 9 AM as you head to the river port and travel by boat to the Tambopata National Reserve.
• Continue to Lake Sandoval, located within the reserve, and witness the exuberant biodiversity of the area. Sandoval Lake is truly incomparable. To reach it, walk along a wooden path of almost 3.5 km, where the rich fauna of this place constantly surprises visitors. At the end of the path, arrive at a small dock and board a rowboat to tour Lake Sandoval.
• During this journey, you may see black caimans, giant otters, herons, turtles, monkeys, macaws, wild ducks, and much more. Return to the lodge before noon for lunch.
• Enjoy lunch with locally prepared delicacies, including a dish called "Juane," made with rice, turmeric, eggs, olives, chilli pepper, and fresh juice. Head back to the city at 5 PM.
