The journey
Head into the forest that is home to the Royal Bengal Tiger, the world's largest big cat. This 4-day journey from Dhaka to Khulna, Kotka, and Harbaria combines cruising, mangrove exploration, and wildlife encounters in the Sundarbans. Along the way, look out for spotted deer, crocodiles, jungle fowl, wild boar, lizards, monkeys, and numerous bird species. Travel by special cruise, explore narrow creeks by wooden rowboat, and hike through the mangroves with your Bangladeshi tour guide.

Day by day
Leave Dhaka at 10:00 pm by reserved AC coach or train for Khulna.
Arrive in Khulna early in the morning at around 6:30 am. In Khulna, our microbus will receive the tourists and transfer them to our special cruise.
Begin the cruise south after completing the boarding formalities. Freshen up and have breakfast. After a few hours of cruising, the boat will stop at a forest station to complete the formalities and also pick up armed forest guards who will stay onboard.
Sail through Kotka Forest Station and, late in the afternoon, anchor for an overnight stay. If time permits, your Bangladeshi tour guide will offer some activities in the forest.
Overnight on board.
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise and admire the narrow creeks aboard a wooden rowboat, allowing a close look at the unique mangrove fauna and flora.
After a leisurely breakfast, your Bangladeshi tour guide will offer a hike through the mangroves.
Cruise towards Harbaria.
Upon arrival, go for a jungle walk near the forest office.
In the afternoon, traverse the surrounding area of Harbaria and overnight at Harbaria.
Make your return journey to Khulna early in the morning.
Visit the Karamjal Wildlife Centre if you have time.
Continue the return journey to Khulna and finally depart for Dhaka at night.
