Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Budapest to Oradea

We shall pick you up from Budapest airport or your hotel and drive to Oradea. We shall visit Oradea town.

Overnight in Oradea.

Day 02

Turda Salt Mine and Sighisoara

Today we shall visit the salt mine in Turda and then Sighisoara, an architectural jewel and UNESCO monument, the birthplace where 'Drakulea' was born.

Overnight in the Sighisoara area.

Day 03

Brasov, Bran Castle, and Poienari Fortress

Today, Brasov is the first place to be visited.
After a short stay, we are heading to Bran, the Dracula castle, the main place of action from the novel with the same name.
The next point of interest will be the Fortress of Poienari, a place of heavy fights between Dracula and the Turks.

Overnight, we shall stay in the Horezu area.

Day 04

Targu Jiu, Corvin Castle, and Arad Area

Our journey continues in Targu Jiu, where the works of Constantin Brancusi are displayed, such as:

Our next point of interest is Corvin Castle, the place where Drakulea was jailed by Mathias the Rex. Finally, we reach the Arad area, where the overnight stay is located.
