2-Day Nam Cát Tiên National Park Tour with Night Safari and Crocodile Lake

Pick up at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:30, then depart for Cát Tiên National Park. The drive takes about 3.5 to 4 hours, with a short break on the way.

In the afternoon, start trekking into the tropical jungle to learn more about the variety of plant and animal life. Trek through the rainforest, where you will gaze at the Giant Tung Tree and put yourself in harmony with wildlife. If you wish, the trekking route can continue to more sites featuring Lagerstroemia ovalfolia (BangLang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), and Cycas rumphii (Thiên Tuế).

At 7:30 AM, a jeep takes you to Crocodile Swamp, home not only to Siamese crocodiles but also to many rare birds listed in the Red Book of protected animals in Vietnam and around the world. The ride takes about 20 minutes for the 10 km journey from your lodge, followed by a 5 km trek to the ferry terminal. If you are lucky, you may admire the charming courtship dances of peacocks, hear the melodious sounds of colorful birds in the hundred-year-old trees, or spot innocent deer searching for food.

Immerse yourself in the majestic scenery of Crocodile Swamp. This is a chance to learn more about the freshwater Siamese crocodile and hear myths about this wetland, surrounded by fully wild lotus.

After that, return to your hotel for lunch and check out. Then head back to Ho Chi Minh City.
