7:30 AM – Hotel Pick-Up and Drive to Namo Buddha
Begin the day with a hotel pick-up in Kathmandu.
Drive approximately 42 kilometers southeast to Namo Buddha.
Pass through picturesque countryside and terraced hillsides along the route.
9:00 AM – Explore Namo Buddha Monastery and Viewpoint
Arrive at Namo Buddha, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal.
Explore the monastery complex and learn about its religious significance.
Walk up to the viewpoint stupa and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas and surrounding valleys.
10:00 AM – Start Hike to Balthali Village
Begin the scenic downhill hike from the Prayer Flag Hill near Namo Buddha.
Pass through forested trails, small villages, and farmlands.
Enjoy the tranquil natural environment and traditional rural life.
12:00 PM – Arrive at Balthali Village and Enjoy Local Lunch
Reach the peaceful village of Balthali after approximately two hours of hiking.

1:00 PM – Hike from Balthali to Khopasi
Continue hiking for about one hour to reach the village of Khopasi.
Meet the driver upon arrival and board the vehicle for a short drive to Panauti.
2:30 PM – Explore Panauti Town
Arrive in Panauti, one of the oldest towns in Nepal with rich cultural heritage.
Walk through its narrow alleys and visit ancient temples, courtyards, and traditional Newari architecture.
Learn about the town’s history and religious significance, especially its connection to both Hinduism and Buddhism.
4:00 PM – Drive Back to Kathmandu
Depart from Panauti and begin the return journey to Kathmandu.
Drive approximately 32 kilometers back to your hotel, passing through charming rural scenery.
