Oradea to Sapinta Merry Cemetery

We will pick you up from your hotel in Oradea at 9 AM and then head to Sapinta.
The cemetery's uniqueness is recognized not only in Romania but also across Europe. It earned first place in a ranking of funerary monuments.
It is undeniable how special the paintings are, and how the colours truly transport you into an artistic paradise.
Sapanta Blue, the main colour used on the tombstones, combines with countless other mixtures of colours. There are poems written on the wooden oak crosses and drawings with scenes from the deceased's life on the upper side of every cross.

In the afternoon, we return to Oradea.
