  • Meet your arriving flight at Kotoka International Airport in Accra. Enjoy safe transport to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Refresh and relax, then take in a neighbourhood or Accra city orientation as time permits.

  • Meet your guide at 8:30 AM and depart on a guided tour of Accra.
  • Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Monument.

Traditional Naming Ceremony and Cultural Celebration

  • Pick-up is at 7:00 AM for a day of cultural interactions, celebration, and ceremony. Shop at a local market for supplies for today's homemade meal. Receive traditional blessings and your Ghana name at an Outdooring ceremony amid much merriment.

Ashanti Heritage, Craft Villages, and Cocoa Farm

  • Depart for one of the last Ashanti traditional buildings, the Yaw Tano at Besease.
  • Visit traditional craft villages around Kumasi showcasing Kente cloth weaving.
  • See Adinkra cloth stamping and wood carving.
  • Visit a cocoa farm in the village.
