Day 01

Machu Picchu Guided Tour from Cusco

  • We start very early with pickup from your hotel at 3:30 a.m. to board a tourist bus to Ollantaytambo and take the 6:10 a.m. train. During the approximately 2-hour journey, you will appreciate the Urubamba Canyon, also known as Willka Mayu (Sacred River).
  • Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, your guide will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. You will then take the bus to Machu Picchu for a guided tour lasting approximately 2 hours.
  • Afterward, you will return to Aguas Calientes to catch your train back to Ollantaytambo.
  • Please ensure that you are at the train station 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.
  • In Ollantaytambo, a transfer will be waiting to take you back to the city of Cusco.
