Chișinău Parks, Landmarks, Churches and Market Tour
- Get picked up by your Chișinău tour guide from your hotel and transfer to Ștefan cel Mare Park. Built in 1818, it is home to more than 50 species of trees and a promenade lined with statues and Moldovan dignitaries.
- Arrive at the Presidential Palace, the official residence of the President of Moldova. The building was designed by Yuri Tumanean.
- Stroll through Cathedral Park and see the Triumph Arch and the Cathedral Tower.
- Proceed to visit the Moldovan Orthodox Church, an autonomous entity of the Russian Orthodox Church with canonical jurisdiction in Moldova.
- Stop at the Cathedral of Christ's Nativity, built by Melnikov and a pure example of neo-classical architecture.
- Look at the contemporary shapes of Moldova's National Art Museum. It has an interesting collection of contemporary European art, mostly Romanian and Moldovan, as well as folk art, icons, and medieval knick-knacks.
- See the memorial for the Second World War, the last Soviet place in Chișinău.
- Wander around the Central Open Market, where the tour concludes.
