Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha National Park

   • Morning: Our representative guide from Tiem Tours and Safaris will meet and greet you with a smile “Hakuna Matata”, Then you will start your day early by hitting the road to Arusha National Park, a small but diverse park with stunning scenery. The park is home to various habitats, including forests, grasslands, and lakes, which attract a wide range of bird species. Look out for species such as the African Olive Pigeon, Hartlaub's Turaco, and the Crowned Eagle.
   • Afternoon: Continue your bird-watching tour in the park, focusing on different areas to maximize your sightings. You may also encounter some of the park's wildlife, such as black and white colobus monkeys, giraffes, and zebras.
   • Evening: Enjoy a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at a lodge near the park.

2. Day 2: Lark Plains

   • Morning: After an early breakfast, head to Lark Plains, a vast expanse of open grassland known for its unique birdlife. This area is home to the endemic Beesley's Lark, as well as other specialized species adapted to dry environments.
   • Afternoon: Spend the day exploring Lark Plains, searching for the elusive Beesley's Lark and other bird species. Your guide will help you identify the different birds and provide information about their behavior and habitat.
   • Evening: Return to Arusha for your onward journey or enjoy a final dinner in the city.
