Itinerary

Day 1: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut
- Arrive at Momella Gate and meet your guide and porters.
- Begin the trek through lush rainforests, encountering wildlife such as colobus monkeys.
- Reach Miriakamba Hut (2,514 meters/8,250 feet) for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
- Hike through the moorland zone, with stunning panoramic views.
- Pass the "Saddle" and reach Saddle Hut (3,570 meters/11,712 feet).
- Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Meru Crater.
Day 3: Summit Day – Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak and Descent
- Begin the summit attempt early (around midnight) to reach Socialist Peak (4,566 meters) by sunrise.
- Celebrate the summit, enjoy the views, then descend to Saddle Hut and Miriakamba Hut.
- Continue to Momella Gate to complete your trek and receive a certificate of accomplishment.
