Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha - Tarangire

   • Upon your arrival at the airport our guide will be waiting for you, and after a brief introduction you will proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch, after game drive you will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
   • The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

   Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

   • After breakfast early in the morning we will drive up to the gates of Ngorongoro conservation area will drop inside the crater where you will be able to see a lot of animals living within the crater.
   • The crater is world largest caldera which was formed after the explosion which occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago, the crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level, the area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.

   Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

3. Day 3: Karatu - Manyara - Zanzibar

   • After breakfast our safari guide will pick you from your hotel/lodge and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch, after game drive transfer to Arusha airport where you will fly to Zanzibar, on your arrival at Zanzibar airport our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.
   • Manyara Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. 
   • Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion!. 
   • At some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.

4. Day: 4-5 Zanzibar

   • For these two days you will be relaxing on outstanding clean beaches of Zanzibar, (Zanzibar activities like Spice tour, dolphin tour etc can be added to the program at an extra cost).
   • Zanzibar is the main island in the Tanzanian archipelago of Zanzibar consisting of Unguja and Pemba Island and many smaller islands, also is a Stone Town, a historic trade center with Swahili and Islamic influences.

   Main Destination: Zanzibar Island (Beach)

   Accommodation: Villa Kiva Resort

   Meals & Drinks: Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included)

5. Day 6: Zanzibar - Drop Off

   • After breakfast our driver will come to pick you up and transfer you to Zanzibar international Airport for your flight back home.

   Main Destination: Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (Zanzibar)

   Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour)

   Meals & Drinks: Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included)
