Secret Provence on Mary Magdalene's Path
- During this trip, I want you to discover authentic Provence off the beaten path. We'll start the day by taking a real journey back in time.
- After the death of Jesus, Mary Magdalene moved to Provence and spent her last 33 years in the grotto in the Sainte-Baume massif. The place is very inspiring.
- To fully immerse yourself in this spiritual atmosphere, I suggest hiking there on your own and taking your time for a more intimate experience along the 45-minute trail. Of course, if you prefer, I can accompany you.
- Then we'll reach Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, a small, colourful Provençal town, where you'll have free time for shopping, lunch, and a visit to the Basilica of Mary Magdalene, where her skull is preserved.
- We'll finish the day by the beautiful Sainte-Victoire massif and fields, where you can enjoy a nice walk in a little hilltop village or through the wine valley.
