Day 01
Marseille, Provençal Countryside and Aix-en-Provence
- Marseille is a very dynamic, melting-pot city where you'll visit its most amazing monument, the basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde, and admire the stunning views over the whole city and the Mediterranean Sea.
- Then, we'll move into the countryside, passing through the beautiful and peaceful landscapes around Sainte-Victoire and the vines valley.
- You'll visit an authentic vineyard and enjoy a wine tasting there.
- I'll bring you to a little hilltop village, away from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism, where we'll play a game of pétanque with some Provençal appetizers, just like locals do! After that, you'll have some free time for an excellent lunch in the village or in nature.
- We'll then head to chic Aix-en-Provence, with its beautiful boutiques, squares, and cafés. You'll have time for shopping, strolling, a coffee, or ice cream. You can also visit one of the museums - it just depends on you and your interests!
