The itinerary

Day 01

Tarangire National Park Game Drive

Leave your hotel in the morning after breakfast and transfer to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its large number of elephants and huge scattered baobab trees. Other mammals such as giraffes, antelopes, lions, and cheetahs can also be seen here, although sightings are not guaranteed.
Later in the evening, leave the park and drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 02

Lake Manyara Game Drive and Return Transfer

This is the final day game drive.
Depart the lodge after breakfast and head to Lake Manyara National Park. This national park is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake that covers two-thirds of the park and lies at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment.
The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa's largest concentrations of elephants and hippos.
Lake Manyara is also known for its unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. After the afternoon game drive, you will be transferred back to Arusha/Moshi Airport for your onward flight.

Know before you go

This tour starts and ends in Arusha.
The operator can help you select your international or domestic flights, but you must book them yourself.
Fly to/from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - check price) near Arusha, or fly to/from Arusha Airport (ARK - check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya).
A transfer to and from the airport is included.
Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
