The itinerary

Day 01

Arusha to Tarangire National Park Safari

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport at 8:00 am and taken to Tarangire National Park.
Once there, you will begin your game drive in a park renowned for its enormous baobab trees, diverse wildlife, and numerous bird species. Tarangire is particularly famous for having one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania.
After exploring the park, you will be driven to Africa Safari Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Arusha

In the early morning, you will leave the lodge and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. The crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and is considered one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders.
It is home to a variety of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, hippos, and elephants.
You will also have the opportunity to spot predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and possibly even a leopard. Additionally, you will see many flamingos and other water birds near the lakes.
After the game drive, enjoy a packed lunch by the hippo pool. Finally, you will be taken back to Arusha or dropped off at the airport.

Know before you go

This tour starts and ends in Arusha.
The operator can help select your international or domestic flights, but you must book them yourself.
Fly to/from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - check price) near Arusha. Or fly to/from Arusha Airport (ARK - check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya).
A transfer from and back to the airport is included.
Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
