Description
Bukhara is like a magic box with an old mechanism, and I will help you to open it! Oriental markets, the aroma of plows and cakes, colourful carpets, winding streets and, of course, wonderful architecture: all this is on our program. It is important for me not only to tell you about the history and culture of a 2500 year old city, but also to show how people live, do, think and feel here.

Bukhara sightseeing
- You will walk around the Old Town and fully feel the spirit of the Middle Ages.
- You will hear how cities and states were born in our amazing region, how trade developed and what role the Great Silk Road played in the development of the region.
- See the craftsmen in the old streets and learn how they manage to make true works of art using ancient technologies.
- I will help you to feel the original atmosphere of the old part of the city and show you a huge number of preserved monuments of Central Asian architecture.
- So, the program:
- The Labi-House Ensemble is one of the main squares of the ancient city, in the center of which is the wonderful Nader-Bega pond. I will tell you how the attitude towards this architectural complex has changed throughout history.
- Trade domes - you will see the changing domes, headgear and jewelers. Together we consider their stone vaults and preserved mosaics.
- Kosh-madrasa complex, consisting of two educational institutions of the XV and XVII centuries. I will explain the features of their architecture and why Kosh-madreses is an outstanding work of Central Asian architecture.
- Poy-Kalyan - you explore the ancient ensemble consisting of the 12th century minaret, the largest mosque and madrasa.
- Fortress of Arch - you will be impressed by the impregnable abode of all rulers of Bukhara, since the 4th century BC. I will tell the history and legends of this «inner city».
- The Saminid Mausoleum is a beautiful monument built in the 9th century from burnt brick.
