2-Day Shared Midrange Lodge Itinerary: Tarangire National Park & Ngorongoro Crater

Morning: Arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport & Road Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your driver and immediately begin your road transfer to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2-3 hours depending on your arrival airport.
Enjoy a scenic drive through Tanzania's countryside, with views of local villages, farms, and open landscapes.

Mid-Morning: Arrival & Immediate Game Drive in Tarangire

Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, you will head straight out on your morning game drive - no time wasted. Get ready for an exciting safari in one of Tanzania's best wildlife spots.
Known for its massive elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent wildlife sightings, including giraffes, zebras, lions, and many species of birds. Your guide will take you on a thrilling adventure through the park's diverse habitats, such as riverine woodlands and open savannahs.

Lunch at the Lodge

After your game drive, transfer to your midrange lodge for check-in and a delicious lunch. Take some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of your lodge.

Afternoon: Game Drive

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Departure

Morning: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Upon arrival at the crater, descend to the crater floor for an exciting morning game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including the rare black rhino, lions, elephants, buffalo, and cheetahs.

Midday: Picnic Lunch in the Crater

Begin your road transfer back to Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport, approximately 4-5 hours, where you will be dropped off for your onward flight or next destination.
