Tour Itinerary: The Historic Bridge & Erawan Waterfall Hike

  • 07:00 AM | Hotel Pickup Your professional legal guide and private driver will meet you in the lobby. Board your private VIP van and begin the journey westward to Kanchanaburi. Comfort stops for restrooms and local snacks will be made along the way.

  • 09:15 AM | Walk the Bridge Over the River Kwai Arrive at the world-famous historic bridge, a key part of the Death Railway built during WWII. Walk along the historic tracks, take in the scenic river views, and learn the deeply moving history behind its construction from your guide.

  • 10:00 AM | Journey to the National Park Depart from the bridge and head deeper into the lush landscapes toward Erawan National Park, a drive of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

  • 11:15 AM | Arrival & Lunch at Erawan Waterfall Arrive at the national park. We recommend enjoying a local lunch at the park's restaurant area to fuel up before your hike.

  • 12:15 PM | The Seven-Tier Waterfall Trek & Swim Begin your adventure up the 7 tiers of Erawan Waterfall. The natural trail becomes progressively steeper, slipperier, and more challenging as you climb higher. Enjoy trekking through the jungle, sliding down natural rock formations, and swimming in the crystal-clear emerald pools.

  • 03:15 PM | Refresh & Change Head back down to the base level to freshen up and change into dry clothes before the return journey.

  • 03:30 PM | Return Journey to Bangkok Relax in the air-conditioned comfort of your private van as you drive back to the city, a journey of approximately 3 hours depending on traffic.

  • 06:30 PM | Hotel Drop-off Arrive safely back at your hotel.

Know before you go

  • Travel Time Notice: This is a long-distance day trip starting from Bangkok. Total driving time throughout the day will be around 5 to 6 hours. If you have medical conditions or difficulty sitting in a vehicle for extended periods, this tour may not be suitable for you.

  • Physical Fitness & Safety: The trek up the higher tiers of Erawan Waterfall is physically demanding, steep, and very slippery. Due to the rugged nature of the trail, this tour is not recommended for senior travelers or families traveling with toddlers and small children.

  • What to Wear: Please wear lightweight, athletic clothing and sturdy footwear with good grip. Running shoes or hiking sandals are highly recommended. Flip-flops are not safe for the upper tiers.

  • What to Pack:

    • A change of dry clothes and a towel (crucial to avoid getting chilled in the air-conditioned van after swimming).

    • Sunscreen.

    • Insect/mosquito repellent spray.

  • Rest Stops: We will gladly make convenient stops along the highway for restrooms, coffee, or souvenir shopping based on your preference.
