Serval Wildlife Sanctuary and Maasai Cultural Encounter

Morning: Departure from Arusha/Moshi

Your adventure begins with an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. After enjoying a hearty meal, your professional driver-guide will pick you up for the journey to Siha District in the Kilimanjaro region. Before setting off, you will receive a short but informative briefing about the day's itinerary and what to expect.
The scenic drive to Serval Wildlife Lodge takes approximately 90 minutes from Arusha, 60 minutes from Moshi, and just 35 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Along the way, take in the breathtaking landscapes of Tanzania, with vast savannas, rolling hills, and glimpses of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Mid-Morning

Arrival at Serval Wildlife Lodge: Upon arrival at the renowned Serval Wildlife Lodge, you will be warmly welcomed by the animal caretaker team. You will receive an insightful briefing on how to interact respectfully and safely with the diverse wildlife inhabiting the lodge.

Know before you go

Our tours are customized and flexible, meaning we can tailor them based on clients' preferences and travel plans. A Tanzanian visa can be applied for online or upon arrival at the airport. All you need is a valid passport that does not expire within 6 months from the date of arrival and has at least 3 blank visa pages, plus proof of COVID vaccination or a negative COVID test for those who are not vaccinated. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travelers aged 1 year or over arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission, and for travelers who have transited for more than 12 hours through an airport in a country with risk of yellow fever transmission.
A 30% deposit is required after confirming this trip, while the remaining balance for your trip will be due 60 days prior to your departure date. For last-minute bookings, payment arrangements will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
