Leave the hotel to visit Ayasofya - the triumph of Christianity and the symbol of Byzantium for the last 1000 years.
Head towards the famous historical mosque of Istanbul - the Blue Mosque, also known as Sultanahmet Camii. Built between 1609 – 1616, it is also the founder's final resting place.
Visit an ancient circus - Hippodrome of Constantinople, which was a prime spot for sporting and a social center of Constantinople. Today, though in ruins, it tells the story of the rulers of the Byzantine Empire.
Indulge in some shopping in the oldest and largest Bazars in the world - The Grand Bazar. It covers 61 streets and has more than 4,000 shops!
Go back to the period of Ottoman Sultans and visit the Topkapı Palace, which is a museum since April 3, 1924.
Walk around and see the Imperial Gate, Courtyards, Palace kitchens, Imperial Council & treasury, Arms collection, Audience Chamber, and so on.
