13-Day Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari with Maasai Mara to Serengeti

• In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and receive a full briefing on your safari.
• You will depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint at the Great Rift Valley.
• You will enjoy lunch in Narok. On arrival in the park, you will proceed on a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver-guide. You will then arrive for dinner and your overnight stay at Lenchada Camp.

• After breakfast, you will proceed on a full-day game drive within the reserve.
• The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya, as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close-range encounters.
• You will break for your picnic lunch at Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. You will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

• After an early breakfast, proceed to the park, where you will see many flamingos among other birds.
• About 350 species have been recorded here. This is also home to both the black and white rhinoceros.
• The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino, and it is also home to colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plains antelope.
• Late in the afternoon, drive to Naivasha, arriving in the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Hotel Chamabi.

• After an early breakfast, depart the hotel and drive to Hell's Gate for registration.
• Here, you can cycle or enjoy a drive. Lake Naivasha is the only park where you can enjoy a nature walk. Hell's Gate National Park has attractions such as Olkaria and Hobley's, two extinct volcanoes, and obsidian formed from cooled molten lava.
• Within Hell's Gate is Hell's Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs and containing two volcanic plugs: Fischer's Tower and Central Tower. There is also a smaller gorge that extends to the south, where a path descends into hot springs.
• Later, with a picnic lunch on the way, depart for Amboseli via Nairobi.
• Arrive and check in at Nyati Camp.

• Enjoy a day of game drives in this park, which contains swamp grounds where elephants and hippos bathe in abundance.

• You will board the shuttle bus to Arusha town and arrive in the afternoon. Our staff will pick you up from the bus stop and transfer you to the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

• After breakfast, you will head to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro.
• Afterward, you will visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world - Serengeti National Park. The word 'Serengeti' means 'endless plains', which describes the park's 5,600-square-mile boundary.
• Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing.
• Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya's Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle.
• Even during the 'down-time', vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo.
• As lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas, and jackals stalk their meals, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

• After an early breakfast around 05:50 am, descend into the crater at 06:00 am for a 6-7 hour game drive with a picnic lunch.
• You will venture onto the crater floor for an up-close look at the residents of this World Heritage Site and enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game viewing all year round. The wildlife here forms a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons.
• Later, depart for Tarangire, an area full of vegetation. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

• Later, you will leave for Arusha with lunch en route, arriving in the evening for your overnight stay at a budget hotel. Dinner will be on your own.
