10-Day Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Escape with Great Migration

• After your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our safari guide will drive you to your accommodation in Karatu.
• Here, you will rest for the remainder of the day and spend the night. If time allows, you may also enjoy a free city tour with our safari guide.

• After breakfast, you will depart for Central Serengeti in search of wildlife.
• You will enjoy lunch at a suitable place inside the park. In the afternoon, we will continue the game drive before reaching the camp.
• Serengeti is well known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

• Get up early and enjoy breakfast, then drive to Northern Serengeti around the Mara River, where the annual migration takes place. Our safari guide will find the best place to observe this event.
• The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeest, zebra, and other animals crossing the Mara River to Masai Mara in Kenya.
• The migration is a magnificent event, as the animals move across a river full of crocodiles. The best time to visit is from July to early October each year.

• Get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, then continue with a game drive in Northern Serengeti, keeping an eye on the events of the Great Migration.
• Later in the afternoon, we drive back to Central Serengeti, where we stop for our overnight stay.

• After breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater, carrying lunch boxes.
• The Ngorongoro Conservation Area contains the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the natural wonders of Africa.
• About 30,000 large mammals, such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, live here all year round, along with a wide variety of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

• After breakfast, relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping.
• From Karatu, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Zanzibar Airport for your private transfer to the beach resort.

• The next few days are set aside for you to relax at the beach and the resort. Take your time and enjoy your rest and the wonderful scenery.
• Discover Zanzibar's best beaches with spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed shores, turquoise waters, and colorful coral reefs.

• Enjoy the remaining few hours before you depart from the resort and transfer to Zanzibar Airport. Unfortunately, this is where our service ends.
• On the way back to Zanzibar Airport, you can stop in Stone Town to buy souvenirs and other memorabilia.
