Antigua Guatemala Shore Excursion and Walking Tour

  • We meet at the cruise ship docking area of Puerto Quetzal as early as possible according to your ship's schedule. I'll carry a sign with your name so you can identify me.
  • From there, we drive an average of 1.5 to 2 hours to Antigua Guatemala.
  • On arrival, we will walk around the town's Central Square highlights and visit different landmarks and attractions.
  • For lunch, there are different choices: we can arrange reservations at a local restaurant with traditional meals, organize a gourmet experience at an author's cuisine restaurant, or simply buy fruits, snacks, or sandwiches at a nice coffee shop. It's all flexible.
  • We leave Antigua at any time we agree upon before your booking in order to arrive at the dock so you can board your ship on time.

Know before you go

  • I arrive at the port before the ship docks to go through all the formalities and tax payments.
  • Antigua Guatemala's streets are covered in uneven cobblestones, and most sidewalks are uneven as well, so it is important to pay attention to your footing at all times.
  • The transfer between the port and Antigua Guatemala goes through the mountains, so expect a winding road and some traffic.
  • This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. Unfortunately, the city has not developed the proper infrastructure for that kind of mobility.
  • Users of walking aids should be able to get in and out of a van and walk at least 3 miles before considering this activity.
