Day 03

Tanga City Tour and Amboni Caves Exploration

Following breakfast, your journey continues to Amboni Caves.
Begin with a guided city tour in Tanga, exploring historical buildings and absorbing the city's rich culture.
Continue to Kiomoni village, where you will engage in activities such as aggregate preparation, local brew making, and lime making. The Amboni Caves, located 8 km from Tanga city on the Mombasa Road, invite you to explore their various compartments and rooms, each with unique purposes, while learning the captivating stories behind them.
Outside the caves, enjoy the lush natural forest, serenaded by the melodies of monkeys and birds.
Your guide will weave tales of the caves' natural beauty and history.
