Know before you go

The vacation program in the Elbrus region is designed for those who do not plan to engage in mountaineering or climb Elbrus, and who prefer to stay in a comfortable hotel throughout their entire stay in the region. It is also perfect for those considering simple mountain ascents. This program is ideal for family vacations in the Elbrus region with children, particularly for families where one parent plans to climb Elbrus while the other family members wish to stay nearby. The program is suitable for nearly everyone, including children as young as five.

Throughout the days that the group of climbers spends in the valley, you can join them for walks and light acclimatization ascents, such as to Shelter 11, or even try the more challenging but still accessible ascent to the Pastukhov Rocks. During these days, you can also enjoy a ride on a snowcat without physical exertion. There is no better opportunity to touch the snow in summer, especially in the early summer months, when the snow is still present - later in the season, only bare ice remains on Elbrus. However, in the second half of summer, berries begin to ripen in the valley.
