3-Hour Salt Lake City Walking Tour with Temple Square and Capitol

• Meet your guide at the Visitor Information Center at 90 S West Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Alternatively, your guide can meet you in the lobby of your hotel in downtown Salt Lake City (select hotels only).

• Walk through City Creek Mall, an indoor/outdoor mall, on the way to Main Street.

• Along Main Street, admire the oldest building that remains from a bygone era and the new architecture surrounding it.
• Continue to the Gallivan Center, which was part of the old red-light district in the late 19th and early 20th century.

• From the Gallivan Center, walk to State Street and catch the bus to the Utah State Capitol Building. This is a short 10-minute bus ride.

• Enter the Utah State Capitol Building for a short tour of the lower level, first floor, and second floor.
• Exit via the south entrance and admire the panoramic view of the Salt Lake Valley.

• From the Utah State Capitol Building, continue walking towards Temple Square along State Street, a tree-lined street with some magnificent old mansions.

• Walk around the perimeter of Temple Square and see the Beehive House, Lion House, Joseph Smith Memorial Building (old Hotel Utah), Assembly Hall, and the Temple.
• Time permitting, you may attend the organ recital in the Tabernacle.
