Itinerary

1. Day 1: Ho Chi Minh - My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (Lunch)

   • 7:30 – 8:30 am Our Guide pick you up at the hotel Lobby (District 1) or my office (203 De Tham Street, District 1) 

   • On the way, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta. 

   • Upon arrival in My Tho, we will take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river. The boat takes you to a small canal, where you can escape from the busy town. The boat cruise takes you to a coconut island in My Tho.

   • Stop at a local family home to enjoy tropical fruit, and taste the honey tea, and honey wine.

   • Stop by the village coconut candy shop, learn how to make candy, and see some handicrafts made out of coconut trees. Take a walk through the village and admire the fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, children, and people.

   • Travel to the music spot by tram or horse-drawn carriage. You will hear the melodies of Southern singers, a type of art and culture of the Mekong people.

   • The experience of a three-leaf canoe ride weaves in small creeks. You will have about 15 minutes to enjoy this.

   • Having lunch is a set with special Vietnamese food. And then, walking or sailing enjoy the local life

   • After lunch, relax, go for a walk, or bicycle around the area. We’ll then travel back to the river ferry and head to Can Tho city

2. Day 2: Can Tho – Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast, Lunch)

   • 7:00 am: Have breakfast at the hotel

   • Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the lower Mekong River.

   • After proceed to visit the Cai Rang floating market, which is the liveliest in the whole region.

   • Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong Delta.

   • Next, you will roam through the village and see fruit gardens and a rice noodles-making shop.

   • Then, head back to the riverside for lunch before back to Ho Chi Minh City.
