About 100 tribes gather to present their music, dance, and culture, making it the largest cultural event in the country and a major attraction for both national and international visitors. Over five days, this experience combines time at the spectacular festival with cultural encounters, photography opportunities, and a city tour of Port Moresby.

Day 01

Goroka Show, Cultural Encounters, and Port Moresby Tour

Day 1 - Date: 18th September (Thursday)

Depart for Goroka Airport in the morning and transfer to Pacific Garden Lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy bird watching and Mudmen entertainments, followed by an overnight stay. Local meals are included.

Day 2 - Date: 19th September (Friday)

Attend the Goroka Show 2024.

Take part in photography sessions, interviews, face painting, and more. Around 50 groups from all regions of PNG perform at the show. Two full days are spent at the Goroka Show, world-famous for its color, culture, and vibrancy. As the biggest sing-sing of the year, it can host up to 150 groups and is a truly spectacular event. The diversity of the coastal, lowland, and highlands sing-sing groups reflects the incredible diversity of Papua New Guinea's landscape. There is also a very interesting agricultural show and music festival.

Overnight stay. Excess pass with 2 water bottles issued. Meals are not included.

Day 3 - Date: 20th September (Saturday)

Attend the Goroka Show 2024.

Continue with photography sessions, interviews, face painting, and more, with 50 groups from all regions of PNG performing at the show.

Meals are not included. Accommodation in standard rooms (TBA) is included.

Day 4 - Date: 21st September (Sunday)

Attend the Goroka Show 2024.

Enjoy photography sessions, interviews, face painting, and more, with 50 groups from all regions of PNG performing at the show.

Meals are not included. Accommodation in standard rooms is included.

Day 5 - Date: 22nd September (Monday)

Morning air transfer to Port Moresby, followed by a transfer to the hotel (TBA).

In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Port Moresby City.
