Day 01

Dedza Rock Art, Pottery and Mountain Views

Depart Lilongwe at 08:00 for a 1 1/2-hour drive south of the city.
Stop for a tea or coffee break before heading into the foothills, where you will see ancient rock art created by the Bushmen in the late Stone Age. Continue to Dedza Pottery craft centre and coffee shop, well known for its cheesecake served in a delightful garden setting.
You will have time to explore the pottery workshop, and lunch will be enjoyed in this peaceful setting.
After lunch, drive up Dedza Mountain to take in the wonderful views before returning to Lilongwe in the late afternoon.
