Day 01

Arrival and Pre-Climb Preparation

  • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and meet your friendly driver-guide.
  • Transfer to your comfortable hotel in Moshi or Arusha for rest and final trek preparations.

  • Attend a pre-climb briefing with your guide to review the route, gear, and safety procedures.

  • Enjoy a relaxing evening and prepare mentally and physically for the climb ahead.

Day 02

Forest Trek to the First Camp

  • Depart from the hotel after breakfast and drive to the park gate.
  • Complete registration and meet the mountain crew before beginning the trek.

  • Hike through lush montane forest, surrounded by birdlife and occasional monkey sightings.

  • Arrive at the first camp or hut, settle in, and enjoy a warm dinner before resting for the night.

Day 03

Ascent into the Moorland Zone

  • Begin the day with a hearty breakfast before trekking out of the forest zone.

  • Descend to a lower camp for a well-deserved rest after the challenging climb.

Descent to the Park Gate

  • Continue descending through varying ecological zones, retracing your journey through moorland and forest.
  • Observe changing vegetation and enjoy the warmer air as altitude decreases.

  • Arrive at the park gate, where you will receive a summit certificate.

  • Transfer back to your hotel for a hot shower, celebratory meal, and relaxation.
