Day 01

Arrival in Tanzania and Transfer to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! As soon as you land, a friendly Aglow Safaris representative will meet you at the airport and transport you to your accommodation in Arusha.
Depending on your arrival time, you'll have a chance to unwind and get ready for the incredible adventure that awaits you.
Arusha is a vibrant city and a crucial hub for safari experiences in northern Tanzania, making it an essential stop for most travellers. Don't miss out on this exciting starting point for your unforgettable journey!

Day 02

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Overnight in Karatu

After an early breakfast, your private safari guide from Aglow Safaris will drive you from your accommodation in Arusha to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most extraordinary wildlife destinations in Africa.
As you descend into the crater, you'll be surrounded by stunning landscapes, including lush grasslands, swamps, and forests. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino.
With over 500 bird species, you may also spot flamingos along the crater's lakes.
With a bit of luck, you might encounter Big Five animals, some of Africa's most iconic wildlife, in this breathtaking natural sanctuary.
After the game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, you will head to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Tarangire National Park and Night Game Drive

After breakfast, you'll depart your lodge and set off on a drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is one of Tanzania's most captivating wildlife destinations.
Renowned for its massive herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees, the park offers a unique landscape filled with lush river valleys, open savannah, and dense woodlands.
Spend the day on an exhilarating game drive, where you might encounter lions lounging under trees, graceful giraffes grazing, herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as impalas, gazelles, and the elusive leopard. Tarangire is also a haven for birdwatchers, with over 500 species, including vibrant hornbills and ostriches.

Day 04

Final Tarangire Game Drive and Return to Arusha

On this day in Tarangire National Park, you will enjoy another exciting game drive through this wildlife-rich destination.
The park's expansive landscapes are teeming with elephants, often seen in large herds, and a wide variety of other wildlife such as buffalo, impala, giraffe, and zebras.
Look out for predators like lions and leopards, often hiding in the shade or stalking their prey in the tall grass.
With over 500 bird species, Tarangire is a birdwatcher's paradise, offering plenty of opportunities to spot colourful species like hornbills and vultures.
After an unforgettable day of wildlife encounters and breathtaking scenery, your guide will transfer you to either Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure with Aglow Safaris.
