Day 01

Flight from Zanzibar to the Ndutu Plains

Today, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to the Southern Serengeti National Park, where an extraordinary experience awaits.
You will witness the synchronized birthing of wildebeests across the vast Serengeti plains - an awe-inspiring event that unfolds between late December and March.
Your journey begins in the Ndutu Plains, nestled in the southern Serengeti, the heart of the calving season.
Here, thousands of wildebeests are born, drawing the attention of predators like lions and cheetahs. This spectacle promises dramatic wildlife encounters and unforgettable moments in the wild.

Day 02

Calving Season Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands

Wake up to the breathtaking beauty of the Southern Serengeti and prepare for a full day immersed in the wonders of the calving season. This time of year, from late December to March, transforms the Ndutu Plains into a wildlife haven, as thousands of wildebeests give birth in perfect synchrony.
Spend the day traversing the open plains, where newborn calves take their first steps within minutes of birth - an incredible sight that highlights the resilience of nature.

Day 03

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Zanzibar

After savoring an early morning meal, you will set off on an adventure to explore the Ngorongoro Crater in hopes of spotting the elusive black rhino.
This breathtaking crater is often called Africa's very own "Noah's Ark" and is teeming with a variety of wildlife, including lions, hyenas, elephants, and more.
You will pause for a midday meal at Hippo Lake before making your way back up to the crater rim for another wildlife drive.
Following check-out, you will return to the lodge and then make your way to Kilimanjaro Airport in time for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar. We trust you have had a wonderful experience and made unforgettable memories with Aglow Safaris.
