7-Day Fairy Meadows and Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek from Islamabad

• Our tour guide, along with the driver for the trip, will pick up the participants from the airport.
• After the airport transfer, participants will check in to the hotel and have time to refresh and get ready for a quick tour of the beautiful city of Islamabad.
• International flights to Islamabad mostly arrive in the morning, so our guests will have a whole day to explore and enjoy.
• The city tour includes visits to Shakarparian, Pakistan Monument, Faisal Mosque, and Daman-e-Koh.
• We will also include a quick city tour of Rawalpindi if time allows.
• Participants will have lunch at the famous Monal Restaurant in Islamabad and dinner at the hotel.

• The route for the Fairy Meadows tour will have been decided before the trek.
• Flights operating to Gilgit are subject to weather, so the suitable option is to travel via the Karakoram Highway, driving along the Indus River.
• The drive passes through Taxila, Haripur, Mansehra, Besham, and Kohistan.
• We will have lunch after reaching Besham.
• Participants should expect a lot of road travel on this day, as the roads are bumpy and mountainous.
• It will take about 10-12 hours to reach Chilas.
• Dinner will be served at the Chilas hotel.

• Participants will leave early in the morning for the Fairy Meadows trek. The distance between Raikot Bridge and Chilas City is about one hour.
• Participants will take jeeps at Raikot for the jeep track to Tatu Village.
• Participants can make videos of the jeep ride to the village, as it amazes many foreign and local tourists.
• The jeep track ends at Tatu Village, and participants will then hike for 3-4 hours towards the meadows.
• Once the participants reach Fairy Meadows, they will feel refreshed, and their tired faces will turn into fresh ones.

• Breakfast will be served in the wooden huts. On this day of the Fairy Meadows trek, participants can enjoy some alone time. They have the option to spend the whole day in the camp, or they can explore the meadows by doing a short hike.
• They can also interact with locals, fill in travel diaries, paint, draw sketches, or take photographs to relax after the long walk on the previous day.
• Stargazing at night, as well as the sunrise and sunset in the meadows, is amazing. Lunch and dinner will be served in the camps.
• Night stay is also in huts.

• On the next day, all participants will make a trek to the mighty Nanga Parbat Base Camp. We keep this base camp trek optional, so anybody who wants to stay back in Fairy Meadows and rest or do an alternate activity may do so.
• However, the Nanga Parbat Base Camp trek, which takes you to an altitude of 3,850 m (12,631 ft.), is a great way to discover this majestic peak safely, although it is difficult nonetheless.
• Overnight stay in Fairy Meadows.

• Arrival in Islamabad will be by night, followed by drop-off at the hotel.
• After a week-long tour, the participants will check in to a hotel in Islamabad and rest.

• Most international flights depart after midnight, so the Exploria team will drop off the participants at the airport according to their flight schedule.
