Fly from Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
- At 5:00 a.m., depending on the location of their hotel, participants will be picked up and transferred to the airport for their flight to Arusha, scheduled to land around 9:15 a.m.
- From Arusha, the journey continues with a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, some of the largest in Africa. As the group travels through stunning landscapes, they will gradually approach the park, which is rich in both wildlife and natural beauty.
- The river is a key feature of the park, drawing in a wide array of animals and providing a perfect setting for wildlife viewing. The park is home to an impressive variety of animals, including giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, impalas, elands, warthogs, and, of course, large herds of elephants.
- The game drive will last approximately 7-8 hours, offering plenty of time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the park.
- During the drive, the guide will share insightful information about the animals, their behaviour, and the park's unique ecosystems, enriching the experience for all participants.
- As the day comes to a close, the group will head to their lodge for a relaxing evening.
- After a delicious dinner, participants can unwind and reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters of the day. The lodge provides a peaceful setting for an overnight stay, ensuring a restful night before continuing the safari adventure the next day.
