The itinerary

Day 01

San Salvador to Joya de Ceren and Copan Ruinas

Depart from San Salvador, El Salvador, at 8:00 am.
Drive for 1 hour to reach Joya de Ceren, the only UNESCO site in El Salvador.
Then continue for approximately 6 hours, crossing international borders until reaching Copan Ruinas.
Arrive in the afternoon and explore the town of Copan Ruinas. In the evening, go out for dinner in town.

Day 02

Copan Ruins, Tunnels, and Return to San Salvador

The next day, visit the ruins in the company of a bilingual local guide, including the tunnels and the Sculpture Museum.
Around 2:00 pm, depart for the return journey to San Salvador.
