Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
Early Morning:
- 5:00–6:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha.
- Drive (~3.5–4 hours) to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with scenic views along the way.
- Quick stop at the Ngorongoro Gate for registration and park entry.
Mid-Morning:
- Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera.
- Begin a game drive across the crater floor, home to abundant wildlife like:
- Lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos, zebras, and wildebeest
- Rare black rhinos and large flocks of flamingos at Lake Magadi.
Lunch:
- Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area near the Hippo Pool.
- Relax while watching hippos in the water and birds flying overhead.
Afternoon:
- Continue the game drive, exploring diverse landscapes from lakes to forested areas.
- Around 2:30–3:00 PM, begin the ascent out of the crater.
Evening:
