This 5-day safari offers the chance to see Tanzania's wildlife up close while exploring the unspoiled nature of real Africa. Travel through Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and capture wonderful photos of Tanzania's landscapes along the way. The experience is supported by a tour operator based in Arusha and includes full-board accommodation on safari, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of a jeep with mineral water, power sockets, and binoculars.

The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Arusha and City Tour

Once you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, a safari guide from our office will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for the night. To introduce you to this stunning city, we are also prepared to take you on an Arusha city tour.

Day 02

Tarangire National Park Game Drive

You will be picked up from the lodge early in the morning and begin a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park, carrying lunch boxes.
Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds and its diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands.
You may have the chance to see a lion stalking its prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above while watching their surroundings.
Once the game drives are done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Ngorongoro Crater Wildlife Safari

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater, carrying lunch boxes.
This park contains the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa.
Enjoy the presence of about 30,000 large mammals that reside here all year round, such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many varieties of birds, including flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

Day 04

Lake Manyara National Park Adventure

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara for game drives while carrying lunch boxes. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.
The park is famous for its arboreal lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and for the numerous colonies of baboons that populate the forest and accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.

Day 05

Arusha Leisure Time and Airport Transfer

After breakfast, relax at the lodge and, if you have some free time, take a short tour of Arusha. Go shopping with our guide, then transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport.

Know before you go

This tour starts and ends in Arusha.
The operator can help you select your international or domestic flights, but you must book them yourself.
Fly to and from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - check price) near Arusha, or fly to and from Arusha Airport (ARK - check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi, Kenya.
A transfer to and from the airport is included.
Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
