Day 01

Jinfoshan Summit Trek and Mountain Views

• 08:00 AM: Meet at a convenient place, such as your hotel or another agreed location, and depart for Jinfoshan.
• 10:00 AM: Arrive at the Jinfoshan tourist center.
• 10:00 AM-14:00 PM: Take the transit bus and then the ropeway cable car up to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 2200 meters. Trek across the summit area and take a lunch break.
• 15:30 PM: Descend to the tourist center by ropeway cable car and transit bus.
• 18:00 PM: Return to your hotel or another preferred drop-off point.

Know before you go

• Prepare sun protection and wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
• It is snowy around mid-December. Be careful of the large temperature difference between the urban city and the elevated suburban area.
• Nanchuan (Jinfoshan) is a suburb of Chongqing, so you should expect fewer meal options. It is also an outdoor walking trip with many staircases, so wear comfortable shoes.
• Check the weather forecast.
• Install Alipay or WeChat Pay in advance. Petty cash is also accepted.
• There are many staircases on the mountain, so this tour is not advised for wheelchair users.
• A day trip to Jinfoshan is around 9-10 hours, including lunch time.
