What to bring

  • For this exciting safari adventure, clients should pack appropriate clothing and accessories for both comfort and functionality. Lightweight, breathable clothing in neutral colors like khaki, beige, or green is ideal for daytime activities, helping to blend into the environment. It's also essential to bring warm layers for cooler mornings and evenings, especially when visiting higher altitude areas like Ngorongoro Crater. A wide-brimmed hat for sun protection, comfortable closed-toe shoes for game drives and light walking, and light, long-sleeved shirts and trousers for protection against the sun and insects are also recommended. If accommodations have pools or water activities, don't forget swimwear.
  • Accessories are key for enhancing the safari experience. Sunglasses protect eyes from the sun, while a scarf or bandana can help guard against dust during game drives. Binoculars are optional but highly recommended for wildlife viewing, and a camera with extra batteries or memory cards will ensure you capture the incredible wildlife and landscapes. A small daypack is helpful for carrying essentials like snacks, water, and sunscreen during game drives.
  • In addition to clothing and accessories, clients should bring personal items like high-SPF sunscreen, insect repellent to avoid bites, and any necessary personal medications. A small first-aid kit with basics like band-aids and pain relievers is also a good idea. Toiletries (biodegradable soap, toothbrush, toothpaste), reusable water bottles, and tissues or wet wipes for quick cleanups are essential. It's also wise to have travel documents on hand, including a valid passport, any necessary visas, travel insurance details, flight tickets, and hotel confirmations. Copies of important documents can come in handy in case of loss or theft.
  • For convenience, a journal or notebook is great for documenting experiences, while a small flashlight can be useful in case of power outages or during night-time walks. Cash in Tanzanian Shillings or USD is needed for tips and souvenirs, as many places prefer cash transactions. Packing these items ensures you're fully prepared for an unforgettable safari experience.

Know before you go

  • Once a booking has been confirmed, clients will receive a detailed invoice outlining all the necessary information related to their reservation. Along with the invoice, a service provider-client contract agreement will also be provided for signing. This contract will outline the terms and conditions of the services provided, ensuring mutual understanding between both parties. To secure the booking, a deposit of 50% of the total itinerary cost is required. Clients also have the option to pay the full amount upfront if they prefer to settle the entire balance in advance.
  • The remaining balance, which amounts to 50% of the total cost, must be paid upon arrival, before the commencement of the tour. This payment ensures that the tour can begin without any delays or complications. We kindly request that clients settle the remaining balance in full prior to the start of the tour to ensure a smooth and seamless experience.
