Day 01

Arrival in Tashkent and Museum Visit

  • Arrival in Tashkent and transfer to the hotel. Hotel check-in.
  • Rest at the hotel after arrival. Free time and tour discussion.
  • After some rest, visit the Applied Art Museum and then walk to the History Museum of Uzbekistan.
  • Enjoy an evening stroll near the Opera House.

Dinner and overnight in Tashkent.

Day 02

Flight to Urgench and Khiva Sightseeing

  • Early breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
  • Transfer to the airport.
  • Departure to Urgench.
  • Domestic flight to Urgench at 7:30 am (1.4-hour flight), HY-1321.
  • Arrival at Urgench International Airport.
  • Then transfer to Khiva (L=30 km; T=40 min). Hotel check-in.
  • After some rest, start a sightseeing tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site Kunya-Ark Fortress, including Kurinish Khana; Mohammed-Amin-Khan Madrassah, Islam Khodja Minaret; Palvan-Kari Complex, Abdu Al Bobo Complex; Rafanek Madrassah, Mohammed Rakim Khan, Amir-Tur Madrassah, and Sho-I-Kalandar Bobo Mausoleum.
  • Lunch at a local cafe. After a rest, continue the tour to the Mausoleum of Pakhlavan Makhmud.
  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 03

Khiva Exploration and Train to Bukhara

  • Breakfast and continue the tour through Khiva by visiting Tosh Khovli, "The Stone Palace," the Madrasa of Kuli Khan, and the Arab Mohammed Khan Madrassahs.
  • Hotel check-out.
  • Lunch in a chaykhana.
  • Departure to Khiva railway station.
  • Take train 056Ж, Khiva-Bukhara, at 14:28. Dinner on the train.
  • Arrival at Kogan station at 22:33.
  • Transfer to Bukhara (L=20 km; T=30 min).
  • Evening walk in the Lyabi Khauz Complex.

Day 04

Bukhara Old City and Cultural Evening

  • Breakfast and start the tour in the Pearl of Asia - Bukhara.
  • First, visit Lyab-i-Hauz, then Nadir Divanbegi Madrassah, Magoki Attari, and Kukaldesh Madrassah.
  • Lunch in a local chayxana.
  • After a rest, visit an ancient blacksmith workshop and later move to the Toki Zargaron Complex. After a short rest, visit Ulugbek and Abdul Aziz Madrassahs.
  • Dinner with live music featuring traditional instruments and a fashion show with traditional clothes. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 05

Bukhara Monuments and Sacred Sites

  • Breakfast and continue the tour.
  • Visit the Poi-Kalyan Ensemble, Madrassah Miri-Arab, Kalyan Mosque and Minaret, and Amir-Alim-Khan Madrassah.
  • After a rest, visit Ark Fortress and Bolo-Hauz Mosque.
  • Lunch in a chayxana.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Bakhouddin Nakshband Mausoleum, the memorial necropolis of Chor Bakr, and Chor Minor Madrassah. Dinner and overnight in Bukhara.

Day 06

Sitorai-Mokhi-Khosa and Gijduvan to Samarkand

  • After breakfast, visit the summer residence of the Emir, Sitorai-Mokhi-Khosa.
  • Transfer to Samarkand (L=290 km) through Gijduvan, which is famous for its kebabs.
  • Stop in Gijduvan village to visit a famous pottery workshop that was previously visited by Mrs. Hillary Clinton, Sir Charles, and many others.
  • There will be a chance to learn about the history of pottery culture in Uzbekistan.
  • Then drive to Samarkand.
  • Upon arrival in the city, check in at the hotel, then drive to Registan Square and enjoy the night lights, which are truly breathtaking, with the intricate tilework beautifully illuminated.

Day 07

Samarkand Heritage and Sacred Landmarks

  • Breakfast, then start the Samarkand tour by visiting Shahi-Zinda Necropolis, Siyab Bazar, and Bibi Khanum Mosque.
  • Lunch at a local chayxana.
  • After a rest, visit Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the Registan Ensemble, including Ulugbek, ShirDor, and Tillya-Kari Madrassahs, as well as Ulugbek Observatory.
  • After another rest, visit the Mausoleum of the scholar Imam al-Bukhari. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08

Afrasiyab Train to Tashkent and City Tour

  • Early check-out and departure to the train station to take the bullet Afrasiyab train to Tashkent (300 km) at 5:03 am, arriving in Tashkent at 7:35 am.
  • Then have breakfast and start the tour with the Tashkent Metro, the oldest one in Central Asia.
  • Then visit Amir Timur Square, Independence Square, and the Applied Arts Museum. After that, visit the old city part of Tashkent and the local Chorsu oriental market (handicraft bazaar), where lunch will be served.
  • After a rest, continue the tour to Khast-Imam's famous mosques, including Tillya-Sheykh Mosque, the Madrasah of Barak-Khan, and the Mausoleum of Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi.

Dinner at a local restaurant.
