Giza Pyramids, Islamic Cairo and Khan el-Khalili
- Discover the history of the pharaohs on an amazing tour tailored to your needs. In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by private air-conditioned car to begin your day trip to the Pyramids, Sultan Hassan, and Khan el-Khalili, starting with:
- Giza Pyramids Complex
- The three main pyramids of Giza - Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure - are said to contain enough stone to build a 2-meter-high wall stretching 100,000 square kilometers around the globe along the equator.
- The Great Pyramid
- The Great Pyramid of King Khufu is considered to largely represent the spirit of ancient Egypt. King Khufu, who built this pyramid as a cemetery, left little information about his reign.
- The Magical Sphinx
- Who among us, when hearing the name of the Sphinx, does not think of this stone sculpture carved in the form of a human head and a lion's body? Located on the Giza Plateau in Egypt, the Sphinx is one of the oldest and largest sculptures in the world, measuring about 73.5 meters long and 6 meters wide.
- Sultan Hassan & Elrefai Mosques
- The Mosque of Sultan Hassan is a prime example of early Islamic Mamluk architecture, dating from 1356 A.D. to 1363 A.D. The mosque is 150 meters in length, covers 7,906 square meters inland, and its walls reach a height of 36 meters.
- Moaiz Street & Khan Khaliili
- Elmoaz Street is the largest open-air museum of Islamic monuments in the world and a unique heritage site that was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. Khan Khalili is one of the wonderful places in Cairo and the oldest market in the Middle East, with the atmosphere of a medieval-style mall.
- Lunch
- Enjoy your lunch, which will be served at a local restaurant after the day tour. Then return to your hotel in Cairo.
