Itinerary

1. Day 1: Departure from Delhi & Arrival at Jim Corbett National Park

   • Early Morning Departure:

     • Start from Delhi around 5:00-6:00 AM to avoid traffic.
     • Travel time: Approximately 6–7 hours (240–250 km).
     • Breakfast en route at a highway restaurant.

   • Check-In at Resort:

     • Reach Jim Corbett by noon.
     • Check into a forest lodge or resort near the park.
     • Refresh and enjoy lunch at the resort.

   • Afternoon Activities:

     • Relax at the resort or take a stroll around the property.
     • Visit the Garjia Temple (dedicated to Goddess Garjia, located on a rock in the Kosi River).
     • Explore the Corbett Museum (a heritage bungalow of Jim Corbett, showcasing his life and work).

   • Evening Leisure:

     • Enjoy recreational activities at the resort, such as swimming, bonfires, or cultural performances.
     • Dinner at the resort and overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Jungle Safari & Return to Delhi

   • Early Morning Safari:

     • Wake up early (4:30–5:00 AM) for a thrilling jungle safari in a jeep or canter.
     • Explore the Dhikala, Bijrani, or Jhirna zones (zones vary by season and availability).
     • Spot wildlife like tigers, elephants, deer, sloth bears, and diverse bird species.
     • Safari duration: 3–4 hours.

   • Breakfast & Relaxation:

     • Return to the resort for breakfast.
     • Relax, freshen up, and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

   • Optional Activities:

     • Nature walk or bird-watching session near the Kosi River.

   • Departure for Delhi:

     • Check out from the resort around noon.
     • Lunch en route during the drive back.
     • Arrive in Delhi by late evening (8:00–9:00 PM).
