• Start from JR Beppu Station and drive to Usa City.
• Visit Usa Shrine, the head shrine of Hachiman worship in Japan.
  • This is a place where the Japanese imperial family offers prayers directly.
  • It is one of the most important shrines in Japan.
  • After visiting the shrine, you can enjoy local meals nearby.
  • Please enjoy lunch at one of the recommended restaurants.
  • The time includes transportation from Beppu to the shrine.
  • Drive back to Beppu City.
• Visit Chinoike Jigoku, one of the Jigoku in Beppu City.
  • A tour visiting several Jigoku, or hot spring hells, is one of Beppu's major sightseeing experiences.
  • Its reddish hot spring water is truly amazing.

We leave Beppu City for Usa Shrine by comfortable private car.

Our first stop, Usa Shrine, is an important Shinto shrine and the head shrine of Hachiman worship.

It is visited directly by the Japanese imperial family with imperial offerings.

You can enjoy the calm and divine atmosphere in its vast precincts.

At a nearby restaurant, you can enjoy local meals for lunch.

Then we return to Beppu City and visit two hot spring hells, or Jigoku.

You may enjoy a natural hot spring foot bath that can comfortably soothe your tired legs.

We provide this tour only in February.
