Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport - Transfer to Arusha

   • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where your guide will meet you and drive you to Arusha (about 1.5 hours).
   • After checking into your hotel, you can relax or take a short city tour if time permits. 
   • Enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel to unwind after your flight.

   Main Destination: Arusha City

2. Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. 
   • Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you'll spot a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions. 
   • The park is also home to many species of birds, making it a great place for birdwatching. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Tarangire - Ngorongoro Crater

   • After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. 
   • Arriving at the crater, enjoy an afternoon game drive across its floor. 
   • Here, you may spot rhinos, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of birds. 
   • Return to your lodge, where you'll have dinner while enjoying panoramic views of the crater.

4. Day 4: Full Day in Ngorongoro Crater

   • Today, you’ll spend a full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater. 
   • Begin with an early breakfast before descending into the crater for a full-day game drive. The floor of the crater hosts a wide variety of wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and several species of antelopes. 
   • You’ll also have a chance to see lions and the endangered black rhino. 
   • After your game drive, enjoy a relaxing lunch at the crater floor before continuing your adventure in the afternoon. Return to your lodge for the evening.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro - Ndutu Serengeti

   • After breakfast, leave Ngorongoro and head towards Ndutu, located in the southern part of the Serengeti ecosystem. This region is known for the Great Migration and the seasonal calving of wildebeest, which takes place between January and March. 
   • On the way to Ndutu, enjoy scenic views of the Serengeti plains. 
   • Arrive at your lodge in time for a late afternoon game drive, where you can witness wildlife interactions in the area.

   Main Destination: Ndutu Serengeti

6. Day 6 & 7: Full Days in Ndutu Region

   • Spend the next two days immersed in the beauty of the Ndutu region. This area is famous for its role in the Great Migration, where hundreds of thousands of wildebeest give birth. 
   • Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives where you'll see not only the migration but also predators such as lions and cheetahs hunting. If you're visiting during the calving season, you'll witness one of nature’s most extraordinary events. 
   • Optional activities include a hot air balloon ride for stunning aerial views (additional cost).

   Main Destination: Ndutu Serengeti

7. Day 6 & 7: Full Days in Ndutu Region

8. Day 8: Ndutu - Central Serengeti

   • This morning, drive to Central Serengeti, where you'll experience the Serengeti’s iconic plains. The region is known for its large concentrations of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and zebras. 
   • After checking into your lodge, set off on an afternoon game drive to explore the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife regions in the Serengeti. 
   • Here, you'll likely encounter prides of lions, cheetahs on the hunt, and large herds of wildebeest and gazelles.

   Main Destination: Central Serengeti

   Meals Planned: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

   Accommodation: Embalakai Camp

9. Day 9: Full Day in Central Serengeti

   • Today will be a full day exploring Central Serengeti. 
   • Start your day with an early morning game drive, capturing incredible wildlife moments as the day breaks. The Serengeti is famous for its Big Cats, and you’ll have the chance to spot lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as herds of elephants, buffaloes, and wildebeests. 
   • Lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the park, and in the afternoon, you will continue exploring different areas of the Serengeti.

   Main Destination: Central Serengeti

   Meals Planned: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

10. Day 10: Serengeti - Arusha City

    • Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti for your final wildlife experience after heavy breakfast. 
    • Afterward, enjoy lunch at the lodge and head back to Arusha for your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
