Day 01

Samarkand Market Visit and Uzbek Plov Master Class

• The day begins with a visit to a typical Samarkand market, where we will buy meat, rice, and spices for plov together.
• I will explain the intricacies of choosing the right ingredients and help you find delicious souvenirs.
• Then we will head to the outskirts of Samarkand, to the village of Terakzor, where a local family will be waiting for you.
• Under the guidance of the owner of the house, you will cook authentic Uzbek plov, taking part in every stage of the process.
• After the work, of course, it is time to sit down at the table. In addition to the plov you have cooked, you will be treated to homemade gilmindi - a national delicacy made from lavash and cream.
