The itinerary

Day 01

Arusha or Moshi to Tarangire National Park

• Drive from Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive in the park. Exit the park in the late afternoon and continue to Karatu town for rest, dinner, and an overnight stay.
• Accommodation type: budget lodge with bed and breakfast, or tented camping on a full-board basis (outside the park).

Day 02

Karatu to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• Drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a half-day game drive from southern to central Serengeti.
• Accommodation in Serengeti: budget lodge or tented camping on a full-board basis within the park.

Day 03

Serengeti Game Drive to Ngorongoro Crater

• Enjoy a half-day game drive in Serengeti before exiting the park and continuing to the Ngorongoro Crater area.
• Accommodation in Ngorongoro: tented camping on a full-board basis within the park.

Day 04

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Arusha

• In the crater, you will enjoy seeing different species of birds, hippo pools, and herds of wildebeest, lions, zebras, buffaloes, and black rhinos in their natural habitat.
• During the afternoon, you will have lunch at the picnic site near the large hippo pool before continuing the game drive until late afternoon, when you will exit the park and return to Arusha town for rest, dinner, and an overnight stay.

• The endless plains of Serengeti, the Big Five animals - elephant, leopard, lion, rhino, and African cape buffaloes - crater views, and different species of wild animals such as giraffe, cheetah, hundreds of thousands of wildebeest on the move, zebras, gazelles, hippos, kudu, monkeys, waterbuck, hyenas, and many more. There are also big baobab trees and different species of birds such as ostriches, flamingos, and storks, just to mention a few. Native Maasai culture, historical sites, and museums are also part of the experience.
• Minimum group size to run the tour: 2+ pax. Suitable for families and group joining. Children under the age of 16 receive discounts.
