4-Day Tanzania Safari and Kilimanjaro Tour with Materuni and Chemka

• You will be picked up from the airport by a Jairos Adventure representative and driven to your accommodation in Arusha, where you will stay overnight, relax, and prepare for the upcoming adventures.

Main Destination: Arusha (City)

• We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am and take you to a special safari park in Tanzania. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape, with nine different vegetation zones.
• Tarangire National Park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees, the continent's largest trees, which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals beside them.
• The river in the park is full of wildlife, ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, African elephants.
• Tarangire has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. In the afternoon, you will continue with a game drive before heading to your accommodation.

• After a hearty breakfast, you'll make your way to the gates of Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll descend into the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera.
• An abundance of wildlife graces this infamous area, known worldwide for its stunning landscape.
• You'll enjoy spotting a multitude of different species, from elephants, hippos, and giraffes to the majestic crater lions and ravenous hyenas.
• You'll stop by the waterfront for lunch, enjoying the spectacular views and a bite to eat before heading out for your afternoon game drive. After ascending to the crater rim, you'll begin your journey back to Arusha.

• You will begin your adventure after breakfast at your hotel and drive to Materuni Waterfall, close to the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Once you arrive in the village, you will begin with a walking tour to Materuni Waterfall.
• On the way, you will see many chameleons, as well as different types of trees, birds, insects, and fruits.
• Later, you will reach the waterfall, which flows with fresh water from the Kilimanjaro forest. If you would like to swim, you can do so, so don't forget your swimwear.
• Afterward, you will walk back to the village for a coffee tour and a hot lunch featuring local food of the Chagga people. Once you finish, you will leave the village and proceed to Chemka Hot Springs. There, you will swim in the natural spring, which is warm on one side and cold on the other, with small fish inside, and the area is surrounded by fig trees. Enjoy a swim before driving to Arusha for drop-off at your accommodation area or the airport.
