Day 01

Antsiranana, the 3 Bays, and Ramena Beach

8:30 am - Meet at the port of Antsiranana.
Drive through the city to reach Sakalava Bay, where the hike begins.
9:00 am - Hike along the beach and explore the beauty of the 3 Bays, each with its own character.
See turtles, learn about the attractions, and swim at Bay de Dunes.
11:00 am - Meet the driver and continue to the baobab forest, passing by the Orange site on the way.
Visit the baobab forest.
12:30 pm - Arrive at Ramena Beach, where lunch will be served.
Enjoy time for swimming and relaxation.
2:00 pm - Leave Ramena Beach and drive back toward the city, stopping at the French cemetery to learn about its history.

Pick up and drive along the coastal road to discover Pain de Sucre, the region's endemic baobabs, and the Massif de la Montagne des Français. Pass through the village of Ankorikahely, one of the two outlying villages of the new Orangia Protected Area (NAP), located 12 km from the town of Antsiranana on the Ramena road, at the fork leading to Sakalava Bay. Each as beautiful as the next, these little-visited bays of white sand border a turquoise sea. In succession, discover Baie des Sakalava and its fun boarders, the seductive Baie des Pigeons, and the refreshing Baie des Dunes. After a dip in the Indian Ocean, continue to Cap Miné, where you will find old cannons from colonial times, an old lighthouse, and a breathtaking view of the Diégo Suarez channel. Next, pass the beach of the former Orangea military camp before arriving at Ramena, a traditional fishing village. Lunch is served by the beach.
