Kilimanjaro Day Hike Marangu Route
- Early in the morning after breakfast, the transfer van will be at the hotel with your Kilimanjaro guide.
- After setting all logistics at the hotel, you will start the journey to Kilimanjaro National Park Marangu gate, and the drive is expected to take not more than an hour to get there.
- When you arrive at the gate, the checkup and registration will take place, and after you finish everything, the hike to Mandara Hut will start. This day you will enjoy the hike through the thick Montane rainforest.
- You will interact with wildlife like black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, tree hyrax, and the white-necked raven. The journey from the gate to Mandara Hut will take 3 to 4 hours.
- When you arrive at Mandara Hut, you will rest, get your lunch, and take pictures.
- When you finish everything, you will start descending to the gate, sign out before 6:00 pm and drive back to Moshi or Arusha.
